 C'mon in, pull up a crate to sit down, don't mind the mess.  I'm still unpacking, getting things situated around here, but I'm glad you stopped by.

So, a quickie post to share a few goals I have for this site:

• This is going to be a site where I share my photography.  I use a Nikon Coolpix L120 and a Nikon Coolpix D3000.  There will be a few photos that will be featured that I have taken with my mobile phones I've had over the years at the times the photos had been taken.  
• The "Portraits" tab is going to be empty for a little bit.  I have a few from a couple of photoshoots I've done years ago, but I need to contact the parties in those photos and request their permission to showcase the photos on here.  To do otherwise would be rude, and I don't do that.  
• I mostly take photos of nature and animals, but my hope is over time to get better at photographing people and eventually maybe pick up a few gigs for events, and I will showcase those on here, as I can and as long as I have permission from the subjects of the photos.
• I want to work more on experimentation with photography, not just black-and-white, but lighting and various props and whatnot.  

Hopefully, too, I will also post about adventures to places where I've gone to get photos of different areas and such, as well, but this site is still kind of taking form in my head.  I just wanted to register the name, b/c it was something that my late partner came up with for me years ago when I was wanting to noodle around with photography.
